WOMEN’S DIVISION
BROWNS: At the monthly meeting of the Browns branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union Mrs A. Hamilton presided over a large attendance. A motiodn of sympathy was passed with Mrs Arnott in her husband’s illness. Miss N. Buchanan gave an interesting demonstration on the making of “humpties.” Competitions for the October meeting are: Best fancy work bag, a gingerbread and best bloom.
