POTATO SHORTAGE IN SYDNEY
NEW ZEALAND SUPPLIES DESIRED
(Received September 19, 6.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, September 19.
Sydney produce merchants said that there was an immediate need for further supplies of New Zealand potatoes in Sydney. Shipments of Tasmanian potatoes to Sydney during the next few weeks are expected to be very light and -it is feared that a shortage will develop if New Zealand supplies are not forthcoming.
