AWARUA ARRIVES AT AUCKLAND AUCKLAND, September 19. Beating her previous east-bound record of 7hr. 49min, the Tasman Empire Airways flying-boat Awarua arrived from Sydney early this afternoon after a flight of 7hr 31min. The flying-boat carried nine passengers. Captain Oscar Garden was in command.
