SCOTTISH SOCIETY’S SOCIAL EVENING
A social evening was held by the St. Andrew’s Scottish Society in the Tudor Lounge last night. The Chief (M J. L. McG. Watson) presided. The following programme was presented:—Songs, Mr Frank Johnson, Miss G. Hunter and Mr Meiklejohn; violin and piano duets, Messrs Fraser; sword dance, pupils of Southland School of Highland and Classic Dancing; Scottish reading, Mr P. Bayne; Scottish reminiscences, Mr Alex Sutherland. Mrs A. F. Manning was the accompanist. -
