TOTAL EXPECTED TO EXCEED £7000
WELLINGTON AID FOR BOMBING VICTIMS (United Press .Association) WELLINGTON, September 18. At 3 p.m. today the cash received by the Wellington city treasurer in response to the appeal of the Mayor (Mr T. C. A. Hislop) for the contribution of £3OOO to the fund opened by the Lord Mayor of London for sufferers by German bombing had reached £6922. The total is now expected to exceed £7OOO.
