CARD PARTY The fortnightly euchre and 500 party was held in the public hall. There was a large attendance '■ of players. The takings at this evening are to be devoted to the soldiers’ Christmas parcels funds. The winners of the 500 were: Women, Mrs P. Carvalho (Dimedin); men, Mr D. McCurdy. Consolation prizes, Mrs F. Gerrai'd and Mr P. Giles. Euchre: Women, !■ Mrs O’Callaghan; men, Mr G. Goble. Consolation, Messrs K. Ure and P. Musslewhite. Other competition Winners were: Tin biscuits, Mrs F. Gerrard; beauty box, Mr E. C. King. |
