TWO MEN FINED AT AUCKLAND
INTOXICATED IN CHARGE OF CARS

AUCKLAND, September 16.
Samuel Gill, aged 37, pleaded not guilty to a charge, of intoxication while in charge of a car. The Magistrate said the evidence showed the offence was accentuated by his debilitated condition. He was fined £2O and his licence was cancelled for 12 months.
Charles Edward Newfield, aged 30, pleaded guilty to a charge of intoxication while in charge of a car. He was fined £25 and his licence was cancelled for 12 months.
