BOMB DROPPED ON CANADIAN LINER
(Received September 15, 6.30 p.m.) TOKYO, September 14.
The admiralty announced that their naval flyers had accidentally dropped a test bomb on the Canadian liner Empress of'Asia, injuring four members of the Chinese crew. The navy sent surgeons aboad and apologized. The purser said there was no structural damage and the Empress of Asia continued to Vancouver.
