SIXTY YEARS OF PROGRESS MACHINERY FOR HANDLING NEW ZEALAND’S HARVESTS (J[ ANDREWS & BEAVEN have during the past 60 years taken a prominent part in the introduction and manufacture of all classes of machinery for growing, harvesting and cleaning New Zealand Grain, Grass and Clover Seed production. One of their specialities has been the designing and manufacture of Seed Plants in which 90% of all seeds exported and cleaned in New Zealand are dressed. One of the greatest modern labour saving machines THE HARVESTER was introduced to this country for handling these products and was pioneered and successfully established over 10 years ago by Andrews & Beaven, Ltd. The success which has rewarded their efforts is established by the fact that 70% of all crops harvested in Canterbury last season was done on HARVESTERS. The introduction of the ALL-CROP HARVESTERS —the small low priced HARVESTER — was pioneered by Allis-Chalmers manufacturing Companies in 1933, and introduced to this country in 1936. This machine has done more to minimize losses in the harvesting of small seeds than any other machine yet introduced to this country, and there can be NO SUBSTITUTE FOR EXPERIENCE. ALLIS-CHALMERS TRACTORS ARE ALSO PLAYING THEIR PART IN HELPING TO INCREASE PRODUCTION BY REPLACING LABOUR AND SPEEDING UP FARM OPERATIONS. ANDREWS & BEAVEN LTD., are now engaged in making the FLAX PULLING MACHINERY to handle the large crop being sown for the British Government. ANDREWS & BEAVEN LTD.
