HELP WANTED FOR A CRIPPLED GIRL

To The Editor

Sir,—On behalf of the Crippled Children Society I appeal once again to the generosity of your readers, knowing their sympathy for the crippled child. We have a badly disabled girl of nineteen whose only interest is handwork. A wireless would make a wonderful difference in her life, bringing her fresh interests. If any reader has a used wireless set he no longer needs, he may be assured it would mean a great deal in the life of a crippled girl. Will anyone interested please communicate with Miss Hackworth, Newburgh’s Buildings.—Yours, etc., N. L. GILKISON, Hon. Secretary, Women’s Executive,

Crippled Children. Society. September 13, 1940.
