MR CHURCHILL WARNS PEOPLE TO PREPARE (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, September 11. The Prime Minister, Mr Winston Churchill, broadcast to the nation this evening. He warned the people of the determination with which the enemy was pursuing his plans for an onslaught upon Britain. For this assault, therefore, he said, they should prepare themselves with special pride and care to do their duty. He rallied their confidence with an account of Britain’s strength in arms and men and, above all, of the courage of which the citizens of the bombed areas in London had given such a shining example. 6
