TODAY’S RECIPE
SAUTE OR GRILLED BANANAS This is excellent to serve with grills. Skin as many bananas as required and cut in halves. Sprinkle with lemon juice, and, if for saute, a little flour in which a few grains of cayenne and salt have been added. Fry in butter and use. If bananas are to be grilled, omit flour, place in a well-buttered tin and grill quickly until a golden brown, keeping them turned so they will brown evenly. Roll in very finely-chopped parsley and serve as a garnish, or they may be served with grilled bacon or ham.
