NOTE: Permission has been granted by the Director of the Dairy Division of the Department of Agriculture for the sale of these cows. The above herd is a first class one, being all young cows and in good condition. Mr Ridder has been herd testing for a number of years and several T.B. tests have each time produced negative results. Most of the herd are by bulls bred by Mr Young and are all close to profit. This herd averaged £24 per cow for the season to the end of March 1940, and can be recommended with the utmost confidence.
