In an L.G.U. match conducted by the Gore Ladies’ Golf Club on the Croydon links the best card was returned by Mrs D. S. McLeod, who won on the count back from Mrs G. Sinclair. In the second round of the junior championships Miss L. Jopp beat Miss
V. Fox, and Mrs G. R. Martin beat Mrs F. E. Olson.
PERSONAL
Mr E. H. W. Rowntree was appointed president for the ensuing year at the weekly luncheon of the Gore Rotary Club yesterday, and Dr R. G. Stokes was appointed vice-president.
