ECONOMIC CONFERENCE

A MISCONCEPTION REMOVED. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 9.30 p.m.) London, June 3. The Australian Pre-ss Association states that in order to clear a misconception it has been officially informed that the forthcoming Imperial Economic Conference is not,- and never has been since 1923, a separate body detached from the Imperial Conference. Consequently the committee, while acting independently of the conference, is impowered to arrive at independent conclusions. Nethertbeless it is deprived of the power of giving executive effect thereto without the authority of the conference.
