MILLERTON MINE
MEN CEASE WORK. (Per United Press Association.) Westport, June 2. As a result of a dispute in the old section of the Millerton mine concerning a working place which was claimed as wet, the members of the Union decided last night not to resume work until the matter was adjusted.
It appears that the manager, of the mine in question refused the workmen’s inspectors right to visit and report on the place as provided for in the agreement, and his decision has precipitated the strike.
