GILLIES—At his residence, 191 South Road, Dunedin, on Sunday, June 1, 1930, Thomas, beloved husband of the late Jane Cuthbert Gillies; aged 87 years. The funeral will leave the residence of his son, Mr S. C. Gillies, 55 Maitland Street, South Invercargill, at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, the 4th inst., for the Eastern Cemetery. SCHMIDT—At Invercargill, on Monday, June 2, 1930, Anders Petersen, beloved husband of Agnes Schmidt, of Woodlands; in his 72nd year. “So loved so mourned.” The funeral will leave his late residence, W’oodlands, at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, 4th inst., for the Woodlands Cemetery.
