ONIONS FOR OLD AGE

CENTENARIAN’S ADVICE. If you want to live to be a hundred—eat onions! This is the advice given by Mrs Anne Stout, who has celebrated her 101st birthday in New Jersey. Ever since she can remember Mrs Stout has had an affection for onions. “I have had one every morning for breakfast,” she said. “I have tried them in all forms, boiled, fried and raw, and have never grown tired of them. I am sure they have contributed to my long span, of life.”
