THE LONDON CONFERENCE.
DELEGATES ASSEMBLED.

Proprietors and editors of all the most important newspapers in the Empire are now assembled' in London for the Imperial Press Conference. There has not been a gathering of thiis - character for nearly twenty years. The delegates will be entertained at a luncheon of welcome next Tuesday in Westminster Hall. Additional interest will be given to the occasion by the fact that it is the first luncheon to be given in Westminster Hall since the King’s Coronation, when representatives of the Dominion Parliaments who attended the Coronation were similarly entertained.
The Speaker of the House of Commons will preside and the Prime Minister, Chancellor of the Exchequer and the leaders of the other political parties will welcome the delegates.
