ROMANCE TO END. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, May 31. The romance of Gretna Green may soon come under the Government axe. The Ministry is contemplating legislation against marriages by Scottish law officers, and is framing a Bill to meet the complaints of the Church of Scotland anji others regarding ceremonies at the famous smithy.
