MOTORIST FINED
DRUNK IN CHARGE OF CAR.

Wanganui, May 30.
As a sequel to a motor car being started in reverse in the business area of the Avenue, backing and carrying away five verandah posts and then shooting over the other side of the street on to the footpath and striking a shop, Joseph Floyd Klegge of Gisborne was charged with being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor car. He was fined £2O by the Magistrate, Mr Salnjon.
