OFFER OF OBSOLETE SUBMARINE.

Washington, May 29,

The Navy Department has agreed to turn over to Sir Hubert Wilkins an obsolete submarine for his Arctic explorations and the Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Mr Jahncke, advises Mr Sloan Danehoua, Sir Hubert Wilkins’ representative, to apply to the Shipping Board for the discarded submarine 012. The Navy Department is turning the vessel over to the board for transference to Sir Hubert Wilkins.
