LOWER FREIGHTS
- NEW SOUTH WALES COAL.
(United Press, Assn.—By Telegraph— Copyright.) (Rec. 8.30 p.m.) / Sydney, May 30. The Premier, Mr Bavin, announced in the Legislative Assembly the extent of the Government’s concessions to assist the coal industry. Freight rates would be reduced 1/6 a ton for coal for local trade and 2/6 for coal for export.
