CHANNEL TUNNEL

OPPOSITION TO SCHEME.

(United Press Assn.—-By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 8.30 p.m.) London, May 30. The Committee of Imperial Defence has again decided against the Channel tunnel. Cabinet has a deciding voice, but the Daily Herald’s lobbyist will not be surprised if the scheme is rejected.
