DEFEAT UNLIKELY
BRITISH LABOUR GOVERNMENT. DIVISION ON UNEMPLOYMENT. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 8.50 p.m.) London,,May 28. A series of meetings was held in the House of Commons as a preliminary to today’s division on unemployment. The Government’s defeat is now considered unlikely. Fifteen members of the Labour Party who did not support the Government last week, after a prolonged discussion decided to await a Ministerial statement before choosing their line of action.
