UNEMPLOYMENT
RELIEF WORK IN DUNEDIN. GOVERNMENT GRANTS SUBSIDY. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, May 26. The Mayor received advice to-day that the Government has granted £7OOO as a subsidy to the City Council for relief work. The Public Works engineer hopes to place 125 men shortly.
