SHIPBUILDING FIRM
PROPOSAL FOR RECONSTRUCTION. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 7.0 p.m.) London, May 26. As a preliminary to a rationalization plan and the possibility of amalgamation, the directors are recommending the reconstruction of the famous shipbuilders, John Brown and Company, involving the writing down of capital from £4,750,000 to £2,375,000.
