The Karepo finished discharging her cargo of coal, sailing for Westport on the evening’s tide. The Awarua s.s. (Captain R. J. Hamilton), sailed for Halfmoon Bay at 10.30 a.m., with passengers, mails and general cargo. Messrs. H. L. Tapley and Company advise that the Calm, which was due on June 2 is now coming on June 5 from Lyttelton and will probably sail the same day for Dunedin. According to advice received from Messrs Henderson and Company, the Port Fremantle is now due on July 9 from Port Chalmers. Upon completion of discharge, she loads general cargo for London. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s Hororata is expected to leave Dunedin toj day and is due at Bluff on Wednesday
afternoon. She later clears the Southland port for-New Plymouth. Coming from Oamaru the Federal steamer Turakina is expected to reach Bluff on June 5 to load cargo. She sails again on June 7. . •The Union Steam Ship Company advise that the Poolta leaves Napier to-day and calls at Wellington on Wednesday en route to Dunedin and Bluff. She is expected to reach Bluff on June 1 and sails again on June. 2 for Greymouth. The Union Company’s Karepo is expected to load coal at Westport about the end of the week for Bluff, Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton. The vessel is due at Bluff un Sunday and sails again on Monday. The Union Company’s freighter Waipiata leaves Auckland at the end of this week for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. The vessel arrives at Bluff on June 8.
Messrs J. G. Ward and Company advise that the Enton sailed from New York on'May 11 and left Newport News on May 13 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Sydney. The Enton is due at Auckland on June 18. The Federal liner Cambridge, which was delayed at Wellington by rain, arrived at Lyttelton on Saturday to continue discharge of her West of England cargo. She will complete discharge at Timaru and Port Chalmers and loads at Port Chalmers, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Gisborne and Auckland. Cabled news has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Otaki left Los Palmas on May 20 for Avonmouth. The vessel cleared Wellington on April 8 for Montevideo, Rio de Janiero, London, Avonmouth, Manchester and Glasgow. KOTARE’S MOVEMENTS. The Kotare is at present loading at Port Craig for Dunedin. She is expected to return to Invercargill on Friday. ‘RANGITATA COMING. Leaving Auckland on Thursday, the Union Company’s Rangitata is due at Bluff on Sunday. She leaves again on Wednesday for Port Chalmers. The Rangitata is discharging 1300 tons of general cargo and loading 5000 crates of cheese as well as general cargo at the Southland port.
