DEFICIT OF £10,000,000 EXPECTED. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 7.0 p.m.) Berlin, May 22. The Government is expected to face a deficit of £10,000,000 at the end of the year, mainly due to unemployment, the unemployed still numbering more than 2,000,000. Two courses are open to the Cabinet, but both create difficulties.. The first is to increase taxation, and the second is to raise the unemployment contributions.
