Badly shaken by heavy rain squalls during the night, the Graf Zeppelin was considerably slowed up in its flight of 1,250 miles along the coast to this city. It passed over Bahia at 7.15 this morning and Mucury at 5.10 this evening, having negotiated three-quarters of -the distance. According to-expectations the vessel should have completed the trip by then. It is understood that the Zeppelin, which is now due here in the early hours of the morning, will descend, but will not make fast and will proceed to San Paulo, where it is expected it will land, returning to Pernambuco on Monday. The Zeppelin flew 30 miles south of Rio de Janeiro early this morning, then headed out for the sea. It will cruise around till dawn and will then return to Rio de Janeiro for a landing. GOING STRONG SHIP WELL OUT FROM LAND. (Rec. 11.10 p.m.) Rio de Janiero, May 25. The Babylonia radio station reported at 1.50 on Sunday morning that the Graf Zeppelin passed in a southerly direction far from land. An announcement from the ship said they would continue to Paraangua in the State of Parana, returning to Rio de Janiero later.
