GORE LADIES’ CLUB. The following is the result of the bogey match played on Thursday: Mrs Pettigrew 5 up; Miss S. Inder 1 up; Mrs Piper 1 down; Mrs J. Brown 2 down; Mrs Miller 2 down; Mrs Stroud 3 down; Mrs Smith 3 down; Mrs Perry 3 down. The result of the L.G.U. match played on May 15 is as follows: Miss Nicol, 93-29-64; Mrs Piper 82-15-67; Mrs Stroud, 103-35-68; Mrs Sinclair, 87-18-69; Mrs Miller, 100-26-74; Miss Inder, 100-25-75. A team of ladies from the Mokoia Club played a match against the Gore Club on Tuesday. The visiting team was hospitably entertained by* the local ladies, and expressed appreciation of a very enjoyable outing through the captain, Mrs Hutton. Miss Inder welcomed the team on behalf of the Gore Club. The following is the result: Dr Woodhouse v. Miss M. Inder, 1 down; Mrs Buchanan v. Mrs Pettigrew, all square; Mrs Cameron v. Mrs Stroud, 2 down; Mrs Sutherland v. Miss J. Rogers, 3 down and 2; Mrs Hutton v. Mrs Perry, 1 down; Mrs Corbet v. Mrs Domigan, 3 up and 1; Miss Adam v. Miss K. Kirk, 3 down and 2; Mrs Hargest v. Miss M. Rogers, 3 up and 2; Mrs Mac Gibbon v. Mrs Tinnock, 8 down and 6.

One more of the local ladies has had the good fortune to join the “Hole-in-one Club.” The honour this time falls to Mrs McCreath, who holed her mashie shot at the second hole.
