From ANY station on the South Island Main Line and Branches, including Queenstown to Dunedin on May 29 and June 4. From Ashburton-Invercargill and intermediate stations including those on Branches to Dunedin on June 5 by trains due to arrive Dunedin up to 11.20 a.m. all available for return up to and including June 14, 1930. Relief Express train for Dunedin leaves Invercargill 6.15 a.m., Gore 7.25 a.m., Waipahi 7.51 a.m., Clinton 8.15 a.m., Dunedin' arrive 10.45 a.m. Stops at Gore, Waipahi, Clinton, Balclutha, Stirling, Milton and Wingatui. Passengers for Wingatui should (ravel by this train. The 7..0 a.m. Invercargill-Christchurch Express train stops at Wingatui. Relief Express train for Invercargill leaves Dunedin 4.15 p.m., stops at Wingatui, Milton, Stirling, Balclutha, Clinton, Waipahi, Gore, Mataura, Edendale and Woodlands. The 4.40 p.m. Dunedin-Invercargill Express train will stop at Wingatui to pick up passengers for Balclutha and stations south thereof at. which train is timed to stop. Usual 6.10 a.m. Invercargill-Clinton train leaves Invercargill 5.50 a.m. Usual 6.27 p.m. Gorc-Clinton train will run EARLIER leaving Gore 6.23 p.m., Waipahi 7.26 p.m. TUESDAY, JUNE 3. The 7.0 a.m. Invercargill-Christchurch Express trail! stops at Wingatui. The 4.40 p.m. Dunedin-Invercargill Express train stops at Wingatui to pick up passengers for stopping stations south of Gore only. Relief Express train for Gore leaves Dunedin 4.15 p.m. arrives Gore 7.33 p.m. Stops at Wingatui, Milton, Stirling, Balclutha, Clinton and Waipahi. Usual 6.27 p.m. Gore-Clinton train will run EARLIER leaving Gore 6.23 p.m., Waipahi 7.26 p.m. Usual 8.50 a.m. Edievale-YVaipahi and 3.47 p.m. Waipahi-Edievale trains will NOT run. Special train for Waipahi leaves Edievale 6.50 a.m. and Waipahi for Edievale 7.30 p.m. Connect at Waipahi with Express trains to and from Dunedin and 4.0 p.m. Invercargill-Clinton train. WEDNESDAY 7 , JUNE 4. The 7.0 a.m. Invercargill-Christchurch Express train stops at Wingatui. The 4.40 p.m. Dunedin-Invercargill Express train will stop at- Wingatui to pick up passengers for Balclutha and stations South thereof at which train is timed to stop. NOTICE is hereby given that The Southland Electric-power Board intends at the Meeting of the Board to be held at the Board’s Offices, situated at Dee Street, Invercargill, on Tuesday, the 10th day of June, 1930, at 10.30 a.m., make and levy a uniform general rate under Section 56 of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1930, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1931, of One penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property within the Southland Electric-power District on the basis of the unimproved value. AND THAT such rate with respect to each rateable property within the said Electric-power District will be payable at the Office of the local authority of the constituent district within which such property is situate. The said constituent districts and the situation of the offices of the said local authorities are as follows:— CONSTITUENT DISTRICT : OFFICE : County of Southland: Clyde Street, Invercargill. County of W 7 allace: Main Street, Otautau. County of Tuapeka (portion of): Lawrence. County of Clutha (portion of) : Balclutha. City of Invercargill: Town Hall, Invercargill.
