Mr S. Ritchie returned to Invercargill by the express yesterday afternoon.

Mr and Mrs R. Burton, of Timaru, accompanied by their daughter, are visitors to Gore.

The Rt. Rev. Dr Whyte, Bishop of Dunedin, arrived in Invercargill by the midday express yesterday. Mr Warwick Armstrong, the well-known Australian test cricketer, who is the representative for New Zealand and Australia of Messrs Buchanan and Company, arrived in Dunedin by the afternoon express on Tuesday. Mrs S. Jones and her son and daughter returned to Invercargill by last evening’s express after a 12 months’ sojourn to the Old Country, where they had been visiting relations. Mrs Jones and her family were accompanied by Mr S. Jones and his mother, who had gone to Wellington to meet them.
