CHILD DROWNED IN CREEK.

Ashburton, May 20.

Noleen Mary Kerr, aged two years and five months, was drowned last evening in a creek near the residence of her parents, just outside the borough. The child was missed after five minutes’ absence and tha father when wading in the creek found tha body wedged under a culvert.
