COLLISION WITH HORSES. TRAIN ARRIVES LATE AT AUCKLAND. (Per United Pres Association.) Auckland, January 19. Running about three-quarters of an hour late, the Daylight Limited express last evening struck a mob of four horses when just clear of the Drury railway station, killing two of them. The train suffered no damage,, and after it was seen that the line was clear, the journey was resumed. The train experienced delay at Pokeno station when it was held up by a goods train for about half an hour. Subsequent stoppages were occasioned at level crossings on the route and the train arrived at Auckland almost an hour behind scheduled time.
