September 10 and 12. Mr H. D. G. Leveson-Gower’s XI. at Scarborough. NOMINATIONS RECEIVED. Nominations from cricket associations and sub-associations were received at Monday night’s meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council. The Wellington Association have nominated twelve players. The team is to consist of fourteen. No nominations have been received from Canterbury, but this fact will not prejudice the chances of any Canterbury players as the selectors have the right to go outside the players nominated. All the players- nominated will be able to make the tour if selected, with the exception of J. S. Hiddleston, about whom there is a doubt. It was decided to forward the nominations to the selectors.
