CINEMA INDUSTRY
DOMINION ASSOCIATION FORMED. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, January 19. A large meeting of motion-picture proprietors from all over the Dominion, was held to-day, and formed a national association to promote the general welfare of the motion picture industry. Mr. E. J. Righton was appointed first president, with an executive council representing the metropolitan and provincial interests. Tie meeting discussed many means of raising the status af the industry.
