RECORD CATCH AT RUSSELL. MAKO SHARK WEIGHING 577L8. (Per United Pre® Association.) Auckland, January 19. A report from Russell states that yesterday off Cape Brett, Mr F. B. Lewis, of England, caught a world’s record mako weighing 5771 b with a rod and line after a 90 minutes’ fight. The last Russell record catch was one of 5281b5.
