TARIFF REVISION
COMMISSION OPENS IN AUCKLAND.

Auckland, January 18. The Tariff Revision Commission opened its sitting this morning. Evidence will be taken from manufacturers and others who are of opinion that the tariff on certain foods should be increased or reduced. It is expected to occupy two or three weeks, the proceedings being in camera.
