MOTOR FATALITY
SEQUEL IN COURT.

Christchurch, January 18. As a sequel to the death of Ivy Louisa Boon, aged 31 and married, who was killed in a collision on January 9, James Luderman Matthews, aged 35, taxi driver, was charged with having driven recklessly and causing the death of Mrs Boon, who was in a milk van, driven by her husband. One witness said that the taxi was going at over 40 miles per hour. Accused pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial, bail being allowed in the sum of £2Qn and surety of £2OO.
