She brought mails from Britain and America and the Invercargill portion should reach here tonight by express train. Th s.s. Maunganui arrived at Wellington from Sydney yesterday. She brought mails from Britain and Australia and the Invercargill portion of this shipment should also come to hand by to-night’s express train. TO-DAY, JANUARY 18. Mails for Australia close at C.P.O. on Tuesday, January 18, at 6.15 a.m., for despatch by ss. Moeraki, from Dunedin to Melbourne. Mails for Port Craig close at CJ*.O. on Tuesday, January 18, at 10. a.m., for despatch by s.s. Oreti from Invercargill wharf. Mails for Great Britain, Ireland and Continent of Europe (specially addressed correspodence only), also Argentine, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Patagonia, Falkland Islands, etc., close at C.P.O. on Tuesday, January 18, at 6.15 a.m., for despatch from Wellington, via Cape Horn, by 6.3. Gallic. THURSDAY, JANUARY 20. Mails for Australia, South Africa and the East close at CJ’.O. on Thursday, January 20, at 6.15 a.m., for despatch by s.s. Manuka from Wellington to Sydney. WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 19. Mails for Great Britain, Ireland, Continent of Europe, Canada, United States of America, Mexico, West Indies (via Vancouver), also Fiji, Hawaiian Islands and Japan, close at C.P.O. on Wednesday, January 19, at 6.15 a.m., for despatch by R.M.S.
