PUBLICATION IN FEBRUARY. ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY ISSUES „ WARNING. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, January 16. The Archbishop of Canterbury promises the publication of provisional prayer-book alterations on February 7. He deprecates premature attempts by earnest but uninformed partisans to exaggerate the scope of the proposals and fan controversial flames, stating that apprehensions and expectations have been aroused which will prove to be unjustified.—A. and N.Z.
