(Received Juno 27, 11.30 p.m.i In the Wimbledon teams tournament Tildeu beat Kingscote o—3, 5 —7, o—4,0 —4, o— 7, G— 3. In the fourth round Shimidzu beat Zerlondi o—3, 6—4, G—3. Mavrogordato beat Norton G—l, 7—5, S —G. In the doubles Doust and Prebblc beat Franklin and Baird. Shimidzu and Mrs Chambers beat Fisher and Mrs Tuckey. The keenest interest was shown in the Tilden-Kingscote encounter. It is generally considered that the winner will prove the ultimate challenger of Patterson. The match lasted two hours. The light was bad, and some rails fell. Kingscote was in brilliant form, often outplaying Tilden, whose superior service secured him the victory.
