HOSPITAL'S WAR RECORD
NEW ZEALAND NAMES. LONDON. May 11. A publication which will be of interest to many New Zealand medical men has just been brought out by the London Hospital Gazette. It is a booklet which contains the names of all connected with the London Hospital who served in any capacity during the war. In addition to the list of names information is given to which branch of the service they were attached, and mention is made of decorations which were awarded for war service. Among the New Zealand names which one has no difficulty in identifying, are the following:— E. G. Anderson, who served with the N.Z.M.C. ]■]. R. Andrea (formerly of Otago) R.A.M.C., North-West Provinces, India, with the rank of captain. Sir H. E. Bruco-Porter, K.8.E., C.M.G., Knight of Grace of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Colonel Army Medical Service. G. M. Chapman, Captain, R.A.M.C., who was killed in the trenches while attending a wounded soldier in France. C. C. Choyce, C.M.G., C.8.E., Colonel, R.A.M.C. (also mentioned in Dispatches.) L. D. Cohen, Captain, R.A.M.C. J. G. Crawford, Captain, N.Z.M.C. Eric Croft, M.C., Lieutenant, R.F.A., who died from an accident in Loudon. T. Fergus, Captain, N.Z.M.C. A, J. Friedlander, Captain, R.A.M.C. W. Clavering Ilartgill, M.C. and Bar, Major, R.A.M.C. A. S. Hcale, M.C., Captain. R.A.M.C. C. E. Howden, Captain, N.Z.M.C. A. B. Lindsay, Captain, Medical Service, attached R.A.F. The booklet, which is issued as a supplement to the London Hospital Gazette, will interest all New Zealanders who have taken their course at London Hospital.
