LEGION CONFERENCE CONCLUDED. (Per United Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, June 24. The conference of the Legion of Frontiersmen concluded to-day. It was decided to provide a shooting cup to be fired for by teams of five. A remit that doc.ors and nurses be organised as a unit of the Legion was carried. Lieutenant-Colonel Weston, D.5.0., of New Plymouth, was unanimously elected stair-captain of the Legion, and the question of registering the Legion was left to headquarters. The conference unanimously decided on Gisborne as the location of the next conference.
