COLONEL HARGEST RETURNED. The result of the poll for the election of a member to the Southland Land Board was declared yesterday, Colonel J. Hargest, the soldier nominee, being the successful candidate. The voting was as follows: — Colonel James Hargest 477 Mr James King 355 Mr D. J. Heenan SI Mr J. C.
