MISHAP TO RACING MOTOR CAR. DASHES THROUGH FENCE. (By Telegraph. —Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, June 19. (Received June. 20, 5.5 p.m.) Hawker, the airman, had a thrilling escape while testing a 400 horse power Sunbeam racing motor ear at the Brooklands track. Ho had attained a high speed when suddenly the car swerved, left the track, tasked across the grass border and crashed through a corrugated iron fence, in which it tore a huge gap. Hawker was alone in the car. He ducked his head to escape injury and brought the car to a standstill. The car's nose was flattened.
