FLOODS IN THE NORTH
HAURAKI PLAINS INUNDATION. AUCKLAND, June 15. The Kercpehi correspondent of the Herald telegraphs as follows: —The floods on the Hauraki Plains arc still high. Many fanners have lost heavily in cattle. One man has lost 200 pigs. Some of the plains are still under water and the damage will be considerably increased unless the river lowers within the next few days.
