An exceptionally big sea which came aboard shifted the midship deckhouse, which is used as quarters for the apprentices. The bunks and their contents were unshed away. The water also Hooded the cabin, ajid did much damage to the ship’s stores. During the voyage an apprentice sustained a broken arm and was almost washed overboard. The ship's carpenter and the mate also received minor iniuries.
