BLUFF HARBOUR BOARD

MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Bluff Harbour Board was held yesterday, when Mr A. Bain presided over a full meeting. The report of the standing committee, which was adopted, stated that the dre-dge hud been sufficiently overhauled to dredge her own ballast for her trip to Port Chalmers and left for that port on June 10 The new lightship would be placed in position on the channel rocks on June 11. The Marine Department wrote approving of the installation of a lightship on the channel rocks and stated that a warning would be issued with regard to it. The revenue for the month showed a decrease of £1877 11s lid as compared with the corresponding period of last year. The credit balance at the bank amounted to £4,700 7r- 9d and accounts amounting to £1,777 3s 4d were passed for payment.
